Surface design

The shortlisted project in the 2024 World Illustration Award is a unique, holistic project. It was based on over 30 illustrations of imaginary characters. Poems were written for selected characters. This resulted in a unique set: a bed linen with a book full of bedtime poems.

The pattern is panel printed on certified satin cotton. I oversee the entire production process, which is in the spirit of slow fashion. Made in Poland. The bedding and book also comes with prints, pins and iron-on patches.

All drawings were created analogue: watercolors, markers, pens.
