Therefore, to make the fun surprising, we have created the INSPIRATIONS list.

City-Mountains pattern. There is the world closest to the child and surrounding it: cars, houses, construction sites, a zoo, firefighters, mountains, hotels. Contrary to appearances, there is a lot to discover in this “boring” world! See for yourself.

DIY fun for kids from play dough

Play mats

Play dough and any self-hardening masses are a great material for making various play items. Here, together with my older daughter, I made vegetables and fruit, as well as bowls and cups with Play-doh. When it froze, it was an additional assortment at a vegetable stall. We also used a basket and a wheelbarrow from Duplo.

From such masses, you can make other household items and use them while playing a picnic on the mat, make bricks and stones for construction and place them on the construction site. Felt is also great for such works.

Memo

Mats, Swaddle, T-shirt, Throws and Blankets

Fun for children with a magnifying glass

Mats, Bedding, T-shirt, Swaddle, Throws and Blankets

Little detectives to start. Search engines have numerous small elements to make searching with a magnifying glass even more interesting. The drawings are made by hand, with attention to small details, which is why there are many motifs to discover here.

Comics

Dialogue clouds with sound onomatous words are a fun offer for the youngest. All you need is cardboard and a felt-tip pen. There are a lot of sound themes on Mat, although of course also on other products.

With older children, you can enter entire sentences in the windows, make dialogues that you can think up on a regular basis, if you record it in the form of a time-lapse movie, a simple animation will be created.

Mats, Bedding, T-shirt, Swaddle, Throws and Blankets

Use your or your baby’s fingers to create characters that will visit Search Tanks. Who will they meet and what adventures will they have?

You can draw different faces on your fingers, “dress” in different clothes. I used paper here.

Fun for kids with stickers

Play mats

The material from which the mats are sewn stick to any stickers. I discovered it quite by accident, when one of our daughters, out of curiosity, covered the City with butterflies.

Butterflies may fly in the city, the square may bloom with flowers, or it may be inhabited by a unicorn or a dinosaur.

Fun for kids with the alphabet

Mats, Bedding, T-shirt, Swaddle, Throws and Blankets

There is an entry on Instagram about Abecadle na Matach. Thanks to countless drawing motifs, my older daughter and I found the entire alphabet.

You can search for words in your pure language or in a foreign one.

Fun for kids with names

Mats, Swaddle, T-shirt, Throws and Blankets

You will find many heroes in the patterns, but it will only be up to you what each of them will have their names and what their story will be..

A traditional name, or an invented nickname, a caressing abbreviation – you can think up at will.

Lost suitcases

Mats, Swaddle, T-shirt, Throws and Blankets

Someone lost suitcases. Find them. Who do they belong to, if someone accidentally lost it, forgot, or maybe he abandoned it on purpose. In a hurry.

Stories are fun to build, starting with an object or event, start a narration with e.g. a suitcase, a shoe at a construction site or a teddy bear under a felled tree – describe the object, tell who it may belong to, who can look for it, who and whether it will find it. Extend the story with new plots and characters.

Counting bricks, balloons (shapes)

Mats, Bedding, T-shirt, Swaddle, Throws and Blankets

The balloon vendor released several balloons in different directions. Search for them and count them. The bricks that fall out of the van can be counted similarly. We additionally cut red cubes, which we placed wherever the brick lay. So that you can count better. Zosia also wrote her name on them (Z, O, I).

Balloons also have different shapes, thanks to which the child learns the shapes.

Spontaneous fun

Mats, Throws and Blankets

One day it will be the City of your favorite hero, the next day you will make a picnic for the characters from the illustrations, and the next you will connect it with tracks and a cable car.

Use the Mats to expand them with your own toys.
